The
organization is headed by “K. K. Sharma” who had put in service with
the government of India in handling IPR and retired as Joint-Registrar
of Trade Marks. He was closly associated with drafting and implementation
of the new Trade Mark Legislation & also it was during his tenure
that the TMR achieved 0% pendency. New miles stones were achieved in
terms of liquidation of backlog and in reducing the time taken to complete
various activities. The standards achieved in disposal were far better
than other developed IPR offices with comparable infrastructure. Thus
he was responsible for putting the Trade Mark Registry into World's
best IPR offices.
He has practiced at the BAR before joining the service & has to
his credit wide experience in handling IPR, Civil, Criminal Matters.
He did post graduation in LAW with IPR laws, as one of the subject apart
from other banking & commercial laws.
He
is now working as an IPR consultant, he has conducted & attended
workshops on IPR in India & abroad.
